From June 5 to June 17, 2009, Green Wood Homes and Technopark LTA participated in the exhibition “The House – Garden Furniture-2009″ in St. Petersburg, organised by the association of producers of wooden houses together with the furniture and woodworking industry union.
The exhibition and Trade Fair were held in the prestigious exhibition palace - ”The Garden City”, and were targeted at discerning visitors.
From May 18 to May 22, 2009, Green Wood Homes Director Richard Damkauskas visited the largest and most prestigious LIGNA woodworking machinery exhibition in the world, held in Hannover, Germany. During the exhibition such manufacturers as Hundegger, Weinig and Ledinek (whose equipment is successfully used by GWH) were consulted about their recent innovative products. GWH also discussed with U.S. and Swiss companies automated line design and production of the wood pellets and briquettes, thereby tackling the problem of the production of wood waste.
During the five days of the LIGNA exhibition, it was attended by more than 83.000 visitors from 90 countries. More than 1500 companies from around the world demonstrated their products.
